BEAUTY & YOUTH Preps Retro "Forrest Gump" Capsule
An homage to Robert Zemeckis’ 1994 film classic.
BEAUTY & YOUTH has returned with a new capsule this season, paying homage to the great American film classic Forrest Gump. The assemblage spans a series of light summer-ready pieces, like long-sleeves, T-shirts and hats, emblazoned with richly printed movie references.
Coming in colorways of white and navy, each piece in the assemblage is stamped with “Forrest Gump” branding. One noteworthy garment is a white long-sleeve with a print of the grassy surroundings of Gump’s Greenbow, Alabama neighborhood. The garment comes with a loose, semi-boxy fit for a slight vintage look. Another highlight is a navy T-shirt glossed with an image of an empty bench with Gump’s briefcase placed below. Other pieces like graphic tees and embroidered baseball caps round up the concise lineup.
Though no official release dates have been confirmed yet, BEAUTY & YOUTH’s upcoming “Forrest Gump” capsule is expected to release later this month on UNITED ARROWS’ website, ranging from $37 – $51 USD.
