PUMA Drops Aston Martin Red Bull, BMW M and Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport Collections
A series of race-ready gear intended for on- and off-course styling.
PUMA‘s longtime partnerships with motorsport companies like Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, BMW M Motorsport and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team continues with a fresh array of goods inspired by each race team. The street-ready items take cues from gear actually worn by the crews, lending authenticity to the hardwearing garments.
The BMW M Motorsport apparel features patches of rubberized branding, stark color-blocking and all-over logos, complemented by boldface “BMW M Motorsport” verbiage. Track jackets, matching pants, windbreakers, hats and waist bags are imagined in monochrome black and white or striking red/navy makeups. Elsewhere, Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport items feature inserted panels finished with a twin-needle topstitch for maximum sturdiness. Various “SILVER ARROWS” prints reflects Mercedes’ racing heritage, while horizontal mesh insets and bonded zippers lend the collection technical appeal.
Finally, the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing assortment takes cues from the flashy cars seen in drift racing. Boldly-contrasted blues and yellows inform the layering pieces, along with statement graphics and comparatively neutral black anoraks, shorts and hats emblazoned with Red Bull’s “Gives You Wings” slogan.
