New Balance 991 Made in England Drops in Three More Colorways
“Brown/Tan,” “Bright Blue” and “Green.”
New Balance has unveiled three new renditions of its 991s. Doused in rich colorways of “Brown/Tan,” “Bright Blue” and “Green,” the classic silhouette has been given bold earth-toned designs, accentuated by lush pigskin suede and other handcrafted details. These colorways follow a clean tri-colored iteration seen two weeks ago.
Starting at the uppermost part of the silhouette is “New Balance” embroidery, sewn on a small leather panel that’s placed at the top of a mesh tongue. Delicate nubuck is placed throughout the body, along the heel, eyelet panels, sidewalls, mudguards, and toecap, complemented by full-grain leather accents at the upper quarter and toebox. Furthermore, a silver-toned rubber “N” logo is woven onto the sides, offsetting the soft textures seen on most of the sneakers. All of these features rest over a slightly raised two-toned midsole, sleekly tapering off towards the forefoot for a sporty, retro finish.
New Balance’s 991 “Brown/Tan” is currently available at END.’s website for $199 USD, while its blue and green counterparts are available at New Balance’s website for $210 USD.
