Guapdad 4000 has unveiled a new track titled “Dolce & Gabbana Dalai Lama,” reflecting on past woes while describing his come up. The song is accompanied by rich black and white visuals, following the rapper’s self-produced track “Platinum Falcon” from a week ago, which also came with a music video that was done in the same monochromatic style.

Measuring at approximately three minutes and a half, the single is a cut off the rapper’s upcoming studio album GD40003*. It features bold productions by James Delgado, Jon Wiilde and Dennis Moon, characterized by syncopated percussions, heavy guitar riffs and lush synth chords. The song starts off with minimal instrumentals as Guapdad 4000 fires off the first set of lyrics, later layered with complementing sounds until finally building up to a full chorus joined by melodic vocals and blaring drums. Notable quotes include lines like “They sleepin’, but I’m still sweepin’ the commas / Dolce Gabbana like the Dalai Lama” and “Don’t check me, b*tch, check your FICO / Your baby need WIC and your mama need Geico.” Towards the end of the song, the rapper switches the focus on how he overcame some past struggles, detailing how he came up on top with lyrics like “Had to piece up to eat, put my feet up now” and “I moved out to Valley and I bought a new house.”
