Last Friday, Eminem hinted at a new music video for his record-breaking “Godzilla” track from his latest album Music To Be Murdered By. The song notably featured the first posthumous verse by rising Chicago rapper Juice WRLD just a month after his tragic death. Eminem’s furious pacing and legendary lyrical prowess was on full display, too, as he broke his own world record, rapping at a speed of 2229 words in just 30 seconds.

“Godzilla” was directed by Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade and features cameos from world champion boxing heavyweight Mike Tyson and frequent Slim Shady collaborator Dr. Dre. It follows Eminem through a liquor store, tracking through an empty supermarket while the veteran literally spits fire, throws up lego pieces and moonlights as a butcher. While the main portion of the video is playful in nature, the outro focusing on Juice WRLD stands in stark contrast, with the late rapper addressing the audience in a voiceover.

“I hope everybody having a good day. I hope everybody accomplished something significant,” Juice WRLD says as black and white archival footage of him plays. “Even if you didn’t accomplish something significant, don’t be discouraged. Just aim to accomplish something significant tomorrow, and the next day, and so on. If anybody’s going through anything, I hope and I pray you get through it and just know that you do have the strength to get through whatever the f*ck you’re going through, no matter what it is.” Juice WRLD’s estate is currently sorting through nearly 2,000 unreleased songs and reference tracks for a potential posthumous album.
