Burberry Announces Selfridges Corner Shop Pop-Up
Celebrating the label’s heritage of exploration.

Following on from Gucci’s psychadelic-themed space, Burberry has become the latest label to take over the Selfridges Corner Shop location. The pop-up store is themed around the London-based house’s history in exploration, and particularly the popularity of the label amongst Arctic explorers.
Referencing this influence, the Selfridges space features an abstract snowspace, as well as expedition sleds with Burberry silk scarves as their sales. Additionally, the pop-up includes penguins who can be brought to life through augmented reality, allowing visitors to capture videos or images of themselves with the digital penguins.
The items on sale in the store focus on accessories and leather goods from Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. This includes a selection of limited-edition accessories such as the quilted Lola bags in “Dark Pine” and “Selfridges Yellow” colors, as well as phone cases, socks and branded water bottles.
The Burberry space at Selfridges is open now, and will remain open until March 29. A selection of the pieces are also available online from the Selfridges web store.
