Bentley Mulliner's Coachbuilt Bacalar Offers 5,000-Year-Old Wood & Ultimate Exclusivity
Only 12 examples will be built at nearly $2M USD apiece.

Bentley is reviving its Mulliner coachbuilding tradition with the ultra-limited run of Bacalar grand tourers. The new model follows the Barchetta design language, creating one of the most focused open-top driving experiences in the company’s legacy.
The Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is limited to just 12 units — with each already accounted for around the world — and each one is completely bespoke. It incorporates much more than just a new body kit and its 650 BHP 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine, as the British automotive company has given it a rice husk ash paint job and an interior that features a sustainable and ethically-sourced 5,000-year-old Riverwood trim that is made from preserved naturally fallen trees.
It features a wraparound cockpit and a design DNA inspired by the centenary-celebrating EXP 100 GT concept car released last summer. Furthermore, this two-door GT sits upon dark bronze-rimmed 22-inch wheels, and comes fitted with bespoke Schedoni luggage that’s housed in the wood and leather interior.
Bentley’s bespoke offering is the epitome of luxury and is paired to an adaptive chassis, an air suspension, a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission that’s both sporty yet refined when needed. Take a look at the one-of-12, approximately $1.9m USD Bentley Mulliner Bacalar in the gallery above.
