adidas Drops Sustainable BOOST-Equipped Terrex Free Hiker Parley
Incorporating upcycled waste plastic found near oceans.

Following on from the Kasina x adidas Terrex Free Hiker, adidas Outdoors has unveiled its latest all-terrain sneaker-boot hybrid, the Terrex Free Hiker Parley.
This take on the hiking-ready Terrex combines adidas’ BOOST technology with Parley for the Oceans‘ upcycled and sustainable plastic yarn. The material is made from waste plastic found on shorelines and around coastal areas, and is then combined with adidas’ signature Primeknit fabric to create a water repellent, sock-like structure that stretches and form-fits the natural shape of your feet.
A full-length BOOST sole unit is paired with a Continental outsole and ADAPTIVE TRAXION, helping you find grip on slippery and uneven surfaces. Other hiking-approved benefits include the shoe’s breathability and overall weight — coming in at 400g for men’s sizes and 340g for women’s.
Take a look at the adidas Terrex Free Hiker Parley in the gallery above, and pick up a pair for yourself at select adidas stores, stockists and via the adidas website for $200 USD now.
