Yves Tumor Announces New Album 'Heaven To A Tortured Mind'
Along with the release of its lead single, “Gospel For A New Century.”
Yves Tumor has announced a forthcoming project, Heaven To A Tortured Mind. Produced by Yves and Justin Raisen, the 12-track project is written and composed by the musician and follows 2018’s critically acclaimed release, Safe In The Hands Of Love.
To celebrate the album announcement, Yves dropped the new single “Gospel For A New Century” and its accompanying music video directed by Isamay Ffrench. The visual explores the title’s theme, stepping into Yves’ psyche and highlighting a Fellini-esq androgynous underworld with a crumbling throne, platform-hooved dancers and a cheeky laser light show.
“Nobody has ever inspired or moved me like Yves Tumor,” Ffrench said in a statement. “It’s hard to do justice and communicate the devotional feeling of adoration and love I feel for him and what he represents as an artist. In short, he’s the shit and i’m so honoured to have made my directorial debut with him as my muse.”
Additional dates have also been announced for the “YVES TUMOR & ITS BAND” headlining world tour, with Ecco2K joining a good majority of the shows. The tour kicks off in early March in Nashville and will see them in areas like Houston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Montreal, Chicago, Mexico and in Europe and the UK.
