Watch A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's Joker-Inspired "King of My City" Music Video
The Highbridge, Bronx rapper’s first major release of 2020.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie returns with his first solo release of 2020 with a new Joker-inspired visual for “King of My City,” presumably off of his forthcoming third studio album rumored to be called Artist 2.0. The new track follows features on Quando Rondo’s “Bad Vibe” music video and H.E.R.’s “Slide” Remix alongside other features from Chris Brown and Pop Smoke.
The song tracks the rapper through his native Highbridge, Bronx neighborhood in New York City where the famous steps in the critically-acclaimed film are located. A Boogie takes full advantage of the connection, having crew members and city-goers all appear in Arthur Fleck’s clown makeup. Vandalizing cars, luxurious dinners and champagne bottle popping ensue. Late last year, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie hinted that another major project was on the way when he tapped Lil Uzi Vert for “Reply.”
