Latest 'Streets of Rage 4' Trailer Features Final Playable Character and Multiplayer Mode
Alongside a new release date window.
Developer Dotemu has released a new trailer and release date for Streets of Rage 4, which also reveals a new character as well as the game’s multiplayer. Floyd Iraia, a bruiser with powerful cybernetic arms has been announced as the title’s final playable character alongside original Streets of Rage character Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, Adam Hunter, and fellow newcomer Cherry Hunter.
“Meet Floyd Iraia, the last Streets of Rage 4 playable character, who dishes out serious damage with his incredibly strong cybernetic arms,” reads an official blurb about the character. “Although Floyd’s movement and health recovery are slower than most, he boasts the longest reach among the playable roster and tremendous power, ensuring any combo he puts an enemy through will be devastating.” Also, the trailer showcases the game’s multiplayer, which will feature two-player online and four-player offline support.
Streets of Rage 4 has been given a Spring worldwide release window and is expected to arrive on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
In other gaming news, Travis Scott may be joining Fortnite.
