adidas Originals Pays Homage to Chicago With Minimalistic Pro Model Release
The red, white and gold foil colorway taps the NBA’s upcoming All-Star Game.
adidas Originals has given its archival Pro Model silhouette a “Chicago” makeover in the form of “Power Red/Cloud White/Gold Foil,” tapping the color scheme associated with the 2020 NBA All-Star Game being held in the Windy City.
The retro pair is served up sans-Three Stripes, and is instead adorned with “Cloud White” embroidery spelling “Chicago” down the mid-panel in a varsity-styled font. More embroidery can be found at the rear, where four white stars line the back heel tab, while gold foil has been used on the rear and tongue tab to highlight the iconic adidas Originals Trefoil branding.
adidas has crafted this pair from smooth red suede with leather accents, and rounds off the silhouette with an off white rubber shell toe cap and cupsole.
