Nike Rakes in $11.2 Billion USD in Revenue for Second Quarter of Fiscal 2021
The Beaverton-based imprint saw global revenue growth and is up 9% from its second quarter last year.

The second quarter of the fiscal 2021 year came to a close on November 30, and Nike has just announced that it was able to rake in a whopping $11.2 billion USD in revenue. Across all of the brand’s geographies, the Beaverton-based imprint saw a 9% increase from where it was this time last year, most of which was lead by its market in China which recorded a 24 percent boost in sales.
When speaking on the Q2 numbers, Swoosh president John Donahue stated, “Nike’s strong results during a dynamic environment show the power of staying on the offense…Fueled by compelling innovative product and global brand momentum, we continue to extend our leadership. Our strategy is working, and we are excited for what’s ahead.”
Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Nike has been forced to close the doors of some of its retail stores, put strict safety guidelines in place for the one that remain open and even for some, cut back on normal operating hours. However, it’s cashed in on backing its digital marketing tenfold in an effort to help drives keep sales afloat, and it’s certainly paying off.
Swoosh management will be hosting a conference call beginning at 2pm on December 18, 2020, to go over its fiscal second quarter results, and you’ll be able to tune in here.
