The Curry Flow 8 is Loaded With Under Armour's New UA Flow Cushioning Technology
Curry Brand’s first-ever signature silhouette is Under Armour’s most technically innovative hoops proposition to date.

Now that Stephen Curry has officially announced the launch of Curry Brand — his very own label with Under Armour — the two-time NBA MVP is ready to roll out the next chapter of his storied basketball lineage: the Curry Flow 8. Serving as the follow up to the UA Curry 7, this hardwood-ready model is proclaimed as Under Armour’s most technologically advanced hoops sneaker to date.
These Curry Brand kicks are the first variant to debut Under Armour’s new UA Flow technology, a lightweight “unifoam” material that is designed to provide hoopers with premium traction, cushion and court feel. Developing this tech took three years in the making, and required the UA Innovation team to hone in on providing wearers an optimal ratio of flexibility and stability.
Just by taking a gander at its shape, you can already notice here that the Golden State Warriors‘ long-range sniper took a departure from the low profile constructions utilized on his last offering, and opted to go with the 3/4 cut. For its inaugural colorway, its stark black uppers are developed with a breathable mesh and sit adjacent to synthetic overlays that rest along the mid-foot and heel. Bottoms, as well as Curry’s new signature logo — which is an amalgamation of his initials, his three-point shot and his high wing sweet spot on the floor — is pasted to the lateral heel and tongues offset with white finishes.
The Curry Flow 8 will release globally via Curry Brand, UA Brand Houses and through select retail partners for $160 USD on December 11.
