Craig Green and adidas Originals Ready Collapsible Sneakers

Following on from last month’s homage to football culture and brand archives, British designer Craig Green and adidas Originals now tease the upcoming ZX 2K Phormar II sneaker that’s expected to launch early next year.
Building on his curiosity for adidas’ ZX franchise, Green reimagines aspects of the archetypal ZX in both “Core White” and “Core Black” colorways. Boasting a soft collapsible upper, the Phormor II houses a thin speed lacing system and tension cords, while an adjustable heel and collar makes for a more comfortable fit.
Sat on a midsole that showcases adidas’ innovative Boost cushioning, each sneaker is completed with semi-transparent detailing and notes from the classic ZX 2K outsole.
Expected to launch February 2021, the Craig Green x adidas Originals ZX 2K Phormar II will be available from the adidas webstore and will retail at $360 USD.
