adidas Originals is seemingly preparing to release a Stan Smith collaboration with the Muppets franchise. The classic low-top tennis shoe will predominantly feature details of Kermit the Frog and will be made using recycled materials.

Outfitted with smooth white leather uppers, the sneaker also features the famed Muppet character’s familiar Lime Green tone on the heelcaps, tongue branding and “Kermit” inscription on the lateral sides. An unmissable illustration of Kermit is also observed just above the adidas branding on the white midsoles with the muppet’s signature “It’s not easy being green” catchphrase stitched on the heel tabs that normally features “Stan Smith” wording.

The Kermit the Frog x adidas Originals Stan Smith is slated to release in the coming months at select retailers and adidas.com. Each pair will reportedly sell for $90 USD.

In other standout collaborations, BILLY’s ENT and New Balance partnered up on a bold 992 silhouette.
