adidas Originals Goes Back to Basics With Latest Ozweego Celox
Served in a crisp “Grey One/Cloud White/Halo Blue” colorway.
adidas Originals recently debuted its all-new Ozweego Celox in a bold “Solar Yellow“-dominated colorway, and now the sneaker has arrived in a wintery tone of “Grey One/Cloud White/Halo Blue.”
The shoe’s design is reminiscent of the YEEZY 700 V3, for it features a sock-like upper that, from a top-down view, has a similar overall shape. One of the most notable draws is how the tongue, vamp, and toe box come together, while its overlaying mid-panel section on the side-profile is once again very YEEZY-esque.
For this particular pair, you’ll find the trapezoid-shaped shoe sport an underlayer of “Cloud White” mesh alongside the aforementioned flexible structured cage that sits on top in “Grey One.” Additionally, adidas Originals adds contouring to the cage to mimic an eyestay placket, while at the rear you’ll find a heel swathed in “Grey One” suede.
The heel is accented by an adidas Originals-branded pull tab, while the tongue is finished with repeated branding. Rounding out the sneaker’s design is its signature Ozweego sole unit that now comes fitted with adiPRENE, adiPRENE+ and EVA foam cushioning alongside an icy “Halo Blue” outsole.
