Virgil Abloh, Heron Preston and More Design T-Shirts to Support Underserved Miami Neighborhoods
As part of an exhibition titled “Our Lives in T-Shirts.”
Miami Art Week 2020 is in full force with the Design Miami/ edition spotlighting over 100 contemporary objects inside the famed Moore Building. Included in the programming is a project called “Our Lives in T-Shirts” with an accompanying installation directed by architect Emmett Moore.
The presentation features over 50 graphic tees designed by a diverse group of creative talent including Virgil Abloh, Kunle Martins, Lucien Smith, Heron Preston, Cat Power, Procell, LunchMoney Lewis, Andrew Skate Shop, among many others. Those interested in purchasing one of the print-to-order tees can pick up available designs in person at the installation in the Moore Building or buy them online here for $30 USD apiece.
Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to support the Village (Free)dge which runs initiatives to provide food and other necessities for underprivileged people living in Miami. The Our Lives in T-Shirts project is also accepting in-person donations of non-perishable food and digital donations via $villagepantry on Cash App.
