RIMOWA‘s signature aluminum cases are the luxury label’s bread and butter, cases with a ribbed shell that’s instantly recognizable from across a cluttered airport. As it expands into new shapes, however, RIMOWA’s product line is taking a dramatic step forward with the debut of five distinct shapes ideal for daily use, seen for the first time in the lifestyle shots above.

Dubbed “Never Still,” RIMOWA’s newest lineup comprises a quintet of accessible bags ideal for a multitude of situations like traveling to the office (post-pandemic, of course) and hitting the town with friends. The genderless bags are all made in Italy and feature the German luggage experts’ unmistakable grooved design and a plethora of sleek branded accents. Adjustable travel straps allow for comfortable long-term wear and an attached address tag enhances the personal feel.

Offered in statement shades of Black, Gray, Cactus, Desert Rose and Saffron, the silhouettes range from a tote and weekender to large, medium and small backpacks. Each is intelligently designed to carry plenty of personal effects thanks to large leather internal pockets and zippered compartments. Tough canvas exteriors protect the goods inside and promise to only look better with wear.

“We’re excited to enter this new chapter in our brand’s history with the launch of the RIMOWA Never Still collection,” said Alexandre Arnault, CEO of RIMOWA, in a statement. “As we have many times over the last 120 years, this new RIMOWA product category continues our long legacy of innovation in travel and mobility. Drawing on our rich design and pioneering savoir-faire, we’re building tools that emphasize both functionality and longevity for travelers today.”

Look for the Never Still bag lineup to launch on RIMOWA’s website in mid-January 2021.

Even more adventurous items continue to push the boundaries of RIMOWA’s output, like this series of high-end watch cases.
