Mugen's Tuned Honda N-One Is One Sporty Little Kei-Car

Honda has only just showcased its all-new kei-car, the N-One, but that hasn’t stopped Mugen from putting its hands all over the model.

Based on the RS version, Mugen has elevated the N-One in true Japanese JDM tuner form with a whole host of physical and visual upgrades. In terms of aerodynamics, the Japan-based customizer now offers a front lip spoiler, a side skirt, an additional gurney flap that’s attached to the standard rear spoiler, and a new set of 15” eight-spoke rims.

Elsewhere, Mugen will equip your N-One with a sports exhaust system that not only delivers a performance-driven sound, but also improves exhaust efficiency. It’s made from carbon, titanium, and stainless steel, and sits neatly under the rear bumper. A new high-performance air filter is also available, and uses materials that are found in cars that compete in SUPER GT and Super Formula competitions.

Mugen will also overhaul the car’s aesthetics inside-and-out, adding sports mats all around, a new gear knob, a ventilated side-window visor, decals on the side, and carbon fiber components on the exterior such as a license plate surround and door mirror stickers.

All of this is accompanied by color choices including “Platinum White Pearl,” “Premium Yellow Pearl II,” and “Sunset Orange II.” The overall finish is typically Mugen, undeniably JDM, and absolutely beyond fun.
