Daring designer footwear is all the rage with the likes of Balenciaga delivering rain boots and Gucci dropping its pair of ankle wellies, and now Louis Vuitton has entered the mix with its new Pillow Boot.
First shown at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2021 runway show, the Pillow Boot is a versatile design that can be worn in all seasons of the year thanks to its free-flowing shapes and fit. However, this can be altered with the use of its rope toggle laces to make for a more secure fit, making it perfect for the colder months ahead.
Coming in black, white, or khaki, the new style is complete with a flat sole unit, the house’s signature monogram motif on the lining, and is made entirely from waterproof nylon. Inside that somewhat loose structure is a well-shaped interior that holds your feet snugly in place.
Lastly, leather has been used at the opening of the collar to give the laces a place to lock onto the shoe’s upper. The Louis Vuitton Pillow Boot can be seen above and bought online or in Louis Vuitton boutiques from December 2.
