Girard-Perregaux and Bamford Watch Department Update the Classic Laureato Watch
Limited to just 45 pieces.

Swiss luxury watchmaker Girard-Perregaux has partnered with Bamford Watch Department to pay homage to its classic 1975 Laureato watch, with a new, limited-edition capsule collection. First released 45 years ago, this new 2020 iteration is limited to just 45 pieces. Dubbed the Laureato Ghost, this updated timepiece boasts the DNA of the original mode, alongside a host of updates and a fresh contemporary colorway.
Coated in 38mm of technical white ceramic — a first for both Bamford Watch Department and Girard-Perregaux’s Laureato — the watch remains lighter than titanium, and is both scratch and stain resistant. The case and bracelet boast alternating satin and polished surfaces, a feature that certainly adds to the watch’s sumptuous look and feel.
Like all Girard-Perregaux watches, a movement lies at the heart of the Laureato Ghost: the self-winding Calibre GP03300-0139, which incorporates a multitude of high-end finishes, including circular graining, Côtes de Genève motif, bevelling, engraving and snailing.
The Bamford Watch Department x Girard Perregaux Laureato Ghost is limited to just 45 pieces and will be sold exclusively at Dover Street Market for just one month throughout November.
