Balenciaga's "I LOVE PETS" Capsule Is Here To Save Our Four-Legged Friends

Balenciaga continues its charitable efforts with a new capsule collection titled “I LOVE PETS,” aptly supporting France’s most prominent animal protection charity, La Société Protectrice des Animaux.

Founded in 1845, La SPA is one of the oldest animal protection organizations in the world and has helped hundreds of thousands of animals over the years. Now, Balenciaga under the direction of Demna Gvasalia pays homage to the organization, releasing T-shirts, hoodies, bags, and jewelry that draws inspiration from our beloved four-legged friends and more.

Throughout the collection, you’ll find charms, earrings, totes, and clothing adorned with prints of rescued pets owned by Balenciaga employees and phrases like “I Love Cats,” “I Love Dogs,” “Meow,” and “Woof Woof.” Pieces also feature a phone number that will direct wearers to a Balenciaga hotline that spews information about adopting pets from shelters, while other items sport a web address that leads to a retro-style homepage designed to raise awareness about animal abandonment and how to home them.
