atmos‘ director Hirofumi Kojima has offered a first look at a three-way collaboration between atmos, Staple and New Balance on the sportswear giant’s X-Racer.

As far as the teased images show, this atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer looks to be like the trail version of the shoe, which equips the sneaker with a more rugged outsole and hardwearing upper materials. In true Staple form, the sneaker adopts a pigeon-like colorway of pink grid mesh and gray suede, with the mesh transitioning into a lighter color and the suede sporting the signature pigeon character on the rear-quarter.

New Balance’s ABZORB cushioning technology is colored in a brighter pink color to offset the gray surrounding it, while elements such as the heel clip and the midsole itself appear in a light cream shade.

There is no further information about the atmos x Staple x New Balance X-Racer for now. More images can be seen on the StaplePigeon and atmos Instagram accounts.

In other news, more images of the latest Prada x adidas Originals sneaker have surfaced thanks to Sean Wotherspoon.
