Dover Street Market and Sky High Farm recently announced a year-long partnership and have brought on 12 brands — including Supreme, NOAH, Brain Dead and Awake NY — to participate in the first collaboration. The capsule collection of garments and accessories will be available through Dover Street Market, with all proceeds going to benefit the farm. To discover more about Sky High Farm and its mission to combat food insecurity, HYPEBEAST paid a visit to the farm in Hudson Valley, New York to speak with founder and artist Dan Colen for the latest edition of HYPEBEAST Diaries.

Colen explains how Sky High Farm, a self-sustaining ecosystem of gardens and livestock, arose from a desire to combat food injustice in New York by providing fresh produce and meat to underserved communities. Colen also stops by Dover Street Market to speak with Awake NY’s Angelo Baque about creating a new definition of philanthropy and service: one which combines Sky High Farm’s important activism with the reach of streetwear. Baque also accompanies Colen to deliver fresh food to New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) in Queens. These sorts of on-going partnerships with local pantries, food banks and community-based organizations are central to Sky High Farm’s mission; to date, the farm has donated some 70 tons of fresh produce and meat to New Yorkers in need.

To support Sky High Farm, consider donating to its Go Fund Me campaign and purchasing from its collaborative partners via the Dover Street Market web store and its LA and New York outposts; 100% of profits from the sales will be donated to the farm.
