Nike Lebron 18 "Sisterhood" to See Full Retail Release
After LeBron James himself debuted it during Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Although LeBron James‘ championship-clinching play in Game 6 of the 2020 NBA Finals was rightfully the talk of the sporting world, the Nike LeBron 18 “Sisterhood” on his feet garnered a great deal of attention as well. Now, the shoes the King clinched his fourth Larry O’Brien trophy in are set for a full retail release.
Dressed from collar to outsole in a tone that Nike Basketball has dubbed “Bright Mango,” the “Sisterhood” presents a look that seems somewhat Los Angeles Lakers-inspired but veers away from being a direct uniform homage. Apart from its monochromatic look, key details include translucent ovals on the tongue that show LeBron’s lion logo, a Nike Air hit and the King’s signature. If you peer into the insoles, you’ll also see a mosaic-style print that blends black, white and blue. This “Sisterhood” pattern has also graced a LeBron Soldier 14 and the insole of an Air Jordan 1 Mid.
From a material standpoint, the “Sisterhood” features a textured knit upper with thick woven lines denoting the placement of the eyestay anchors. This flexible forefoot works in tandem with a molded heel for fit and support, while midsoles combine Zoom Air in the forefoot with Air Max in the heel for a soft-yet-responsive cushioning setup.
The Nike LeBron 18 “Sisterhood” is set to release on Nike SNKRS China come October 23, and will retail for $200 USD. A full global release will likely occur in the following weeks.
