visvim Applies Vibrant Paint Splatters Over Light Colored Garments
Artful tri-colored highlights.
After unveiling its eclectic Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook two weeks ago, Hiroki Nakamura‘s stalwart visvim has returned with three new pieces that have been detailed with artful paint splatters — featured is the Kerchief Down Jacket, Grease Monkey Coat and Cecile Shirt.
Both the Kerchief Down Jacket and Grease Monkey Coat come in a creamy beige coffee-colored tone, marked with thin splashes of blue, red and white paint. The former piece sees a row of shiny gold buttons at the center, complemented by two at the upper chest pockets. Western-style shoulder panels sit next to thin collars, topped off by subtle horizontal quilting that appears throughout the rest of the jacket. The Grease Monkey Coat comes with the same base color. This time, it boasts muted black buttons, a small chest compartment and twin pockets near the hem.
Finally, the Cecile Shirt embraces a crisp white base with a semi-loose fit, also accented by the sporadic tri-colored patterns. Its construction sees slight pleating around the sleeves and small side slits at the hem, rounded out by nuanced details like tonal buttons and articulated cuffs.
visvim’s Kerchief Down Jacket, Grease Monkey Coat and Cecile Shirt are currently available at the label’s website, ranging from $590 – $1,700 USD.
