Takashi Murakami has taken to Instagram to showcase an upcoming collaboration between himself and PORTER.

In a series of videos and photos, Murakami offers a closer look at new silhouettes including a khaki green canvas military-inspired sneaker boot, which is complete with velcro straps, plenty of dual branding, and the artist’s signature KaiKai KiKi sunflower motifs embossed onto the gum sole unit.

Elsewhere, the collaboration sees a pair of high-top sneakers that sport an all-over flower-bomb design that is partly encapsulated underneath by semi-transparent khaki rubber components, which is contrasted with a set of neon yellow laces. Joining these are a pair of slippers that reference the aforementioned canvas sneaker boots, a pair of slip-on sneakers also sporting the signature flower print, and finally a pair of canvas slip-on boots that reference the classic UGG Boot design.

Rounding out the collaborative effort is a black PORTER bag that’s adorned KaiKai KiKi sunflower characters, looking not too dissimilar to the duo’s previous black TANKER series. Take a closer look at everything below, and stay tuned to HYPEBEAST for potential release information.

In other news, Louis Vuitton recently let HYPEBEAST get up-close with its footwear atelier.
