Reebok has officially announced its global partnership with Khalid. The footwear giant and Grammy-nominated artist are teaming up to amplify a collective mission to inspire creativity, along with encouraging experimentation and self-expression in today’s youth.

Khalid is set to make his Reebok debut this Spring 2020 for the brand’s first Sport the Unexpected campaign of the year. Immersive elements of irreverence and the surreal will meet the singer’s authentic and charismatic self to create an unexpected story, highlighting both Khalid’s natural energy and Reebok’s heritage through a more modern lens.

To celebrate the partnership, Khalid took to Instagram to share an endearing photo of him and his dog Maui who can be seen sporting a specially-designed handmade Reebok doggy tracksuit. “I’m amped to partner with Reebok,” he said. “I love how they mix old and new and honor the classics with fresh twists. I hope we can inspire a new generation of people to be themselves and take creative chances.”

“Khalid continues to be a beacon of originality, pride and imagination for today’s rising youth,” Matt Blonder, VP of Marketing and Digital Brand Commerce at Reebok, added. “Through his unique sound and a personal journey that took him across the country, Khalid authentically symbolizes our common ethos – to inspire creativity and encourage experimentation. We’re privileged to welcome him to our family.”
