Jessie Reyez Reveals New Album 'Before Love Came To Kill Us' with "No Sweat" Single
The Colombian-Canadian star will release her debut album this March.
GRAMMY Nominated Jessie Reyez made major noise throughout 2019 and ended the year off with some harrowing visuals for her “Crazy” music video that called attention to domestic violence. She’s also up for Urban Contemporary Album at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards for her Being Human in Public EP. Now Jessie has unveiled her latest single “No Sweat”. The track was first featured for a Secret deodorant commercial that showcased female superstars ranging from Camila Mendes, Swin Cash, and Ainsley Rodriguez. If the album artwork is any indication, the main wardrobe colors mirror the deodorant brand’s signature colors and could hint at being stand-alone track. Nonetheless, it was made available via major streaming platforms for the first time over the weekend.
Reyez also took to social media to announce her debut album, Before Love Came To Kill Us will release on March 27, 2020, with pre-orders available Thursday, January 23. For more, check out Jessie Reyez’s remix Pink Sweat$ “Honesty” from November of last year. She also released a single and video for “Far Away”, a video that commented on the ongoing immigration crisis throughout North and Central America.
