Following last week’s lineup, Cav Empt is back with its third drop of SS20. The Tokyo-based label has released a range of bold spring-ready garments, this time featuring military-inspired silhouettes alongside casual staples that demonstrate the brand’s graphic-driven prowess.
One noteworthy garment is a black nylon jacket that comes with a light sheen. The jacket sees raised collars, two geometric chest compartments and twin waist pockets. Tonal zippers appear along the central closure, chest pockets and arm pouch, placed just under C.E.’s signature rubber patch at the upper left sleeve. Both sleeves are removable and include zippers at the shoulder seams, while the fur-lined collar can be flipped out for textural contrast. Another highlight is a dark blue crewneck sweater constructed with a boxy fit. The front of the piece is emblazoned with a graphic that depicts a Wi-Fi motif, followed by an abstract collage of residents amidst an urban cityscape. Thick ribbing is placed along the sides, inner sleeves, cuffs and hemline, finished off by reinforced flatlock stitching. Other pieces like the denim zip-up, neon hoodie, wide chinos and striped socks round up the concise assemblage.
Cav Empt’s third drop is currently available at the label’s website, ranging from $20 – $625 USD.
