After wrapping up FW19 with Drop 20, Cav Empt is back with a fresh assemblage of goods as seen in its recent SS20 lookbook. The Tokyo label has delivered its first drop of the season, kicking off the new year with a set of casual staples steeped in rich earth tones, dark shades and bold graphics.
One noteworthy piece is the reversible PSI Zip Jacket, coming in a sleek water repellent coating. Graphics depicting black frequency waves are emblazoned over large grids across the jacket’s elongated silhouette. The piece comes with a slightly raised collar, raglan sleeves, central two-way zippers and welt pockets. Equipped with lightweight Thinsulate padding, the garment can be easily flipped — one side is colored in dark brown while the reverse sees a dim bronze palette. Another highlight is a pair of wide chino pants that have been paneled by three colors: brown, dark teal and pumpkin. At the front, the brown and teal tones are separated at the knees, contrasted by the dark orange panel at the back which starts at the calves. As a finishing detail, the upper left pocket comes with a graphic of a woman’s hand, printed on a patch in the shape of an upside-down ziggurat. Other pieces like the white crewneck, flight jacket, graphic tee, strapback hat, mesh pouch and socks round up the latest range.
Cav Empt’s Drop 1 of SS20 is currently available at the label’s website, ranging from $20 – $530 USD.
