Build-A-Bear Is Releasing a Baby Yoda Plushy
Become the Mandalorian, you will.
Following the massive popularity of The Mandalorian‘s Baby Yoda, toy company Build-A-Bear has now announced that it will be releasing a Baby Yoda plushy you can build.
The announcement was made by the company’s CEO Sharon Price John at an investors’ conference in Florida. “I’m excited to share we will be one of the first companies to provide the digital and internet phenomenon who is trending higher than all the presidential candidates combined,” said John whilst holding a prototype of the plushy. “We now will have The Child, also known as Baby Yoda.” The toy itself, which you can see in the Twitter post below, closely resembles the Star Wars character and looks almost close to a 1:1 scale. According to John, Build-A-Bear had begun working on the design alongside Lucasfilm and Disney as soon as the first episode of The Mandalorian aired back in November last year.
There’s currently no official release date or pricing information on the Build-A-Bear Baby Yoda plushy, so those interested should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in the world of Star Wars, Medicom Toy has dropped a ‘Star Wars Saga’ 100% BE@RBRICK collection.
