BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair Will Bring Together Over 80 Exhibitors

BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair by Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong will soon launch its second edition this month. Over 80 exhibitors, both local and international, will take part in the sprawling installment. Highlighted booksellers include New York City-based Printed Matter, Jakarta-based ruangrupa, Pan-African platform Chimurenga, among many others.

The fair will also host a program of talks, live events as well as workshops “to further the mission of presenting contemporary art programs in Hong Kong,” as per a press statement. Moreover, the event will launch a special project dubbed OVERBOOKED that is dedicated to displaying the work of nine international artists including Fiona Banner aka the Vanity Press (London, UK), Karl Holmqvist (Berlin, Germany), Toshio Matsumoto (Japanese, 1932-2017), and more.

BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair by Tai Kwun Contemporary will run January 16-19.
