After announcing the collaboration only one day ago, detailed imagery of VansThe Nightmare Before Christmas collaboration has surfaced thanks to stalwart retailer Sneaker Politics. The four-piece collection includes some of Vans’ most-familiar skate silhouettes, elevated with a healthy dose of color and thematic detailing.

A Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Old-Skool and Slip-On have all received The Nightmare Before Christmas makeovers, with plenty of thoughtful touches hidden throughout. For instance, the Authentic, already overloaded with a collage of TNBC characters atop the canvas upper, features a subtle Easter Bunny print hidden inside the sockliner. Similarly, the Sk8-Hi sports prints of Sally, Zero and the Zombie Band on each side, with the sax player’s classic “Nice work, bone daddy” line emblazoned inside the leather heel.

Elsewhere, the Authentics offer bold yellow and red tones beneath a lateral side patch of Lock, Stock and Barrel, with their traps and toys printed on the opposite side. Black suede toes and tongues mirror the detailing on the Sk8-Hi. Finally, the Slip-On features a plastic appliqué of Jack Skellington’s bowtie, complete with matching stripes surrounding the white canvas uppers and black suede heel. All the shoes sport red Vans branding atop the tongue and/or heel patches, with a black swirl printed beneath.

View all four models on Sneaker Politics’ site and expect them to officially launch next month for $70 USD apiece ($75 USD for the Sk8-Hi).

Most recently, Vans introduced a sturdy Cordura Sk8-Hi.
