Riot Games and Louis Vuitton Announce Partnership for 'League of Legends' Championship
A monumental collision for esports and fashion.



Continuing to innovate and pioneer the esports industry, Riot Games has announced an unprecedented partnership with Louis Vuitton for League of Legends World Championship 2019.
The news comes just weeks before Riot brings the world’s best players together October 2 for this year’s play-ins and group stages in Berlin. Following the initial stage, will be the quarterfinals and semi-finals in Madrid October 26, culminating with the finals in Paris November 10.
To mark the event, Riot Games has tapped iconic French luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton, to create a one-of-a-kind Trophy Travel Case to hold the Summoner’s Cup set to be awarded to the 2019 champions. A monumental collision for both eSports and fashion, the bespoke trunk will bring together the savoir-faire details associated with LV’s malletier roots and high-tech elements drawn from the League of Legends universe.
Additionally, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, will be designing unique champion skins and a capsule collection that will be announced as Worlds 2019 approaches.
