Franchise Magazine has unveiled the cover star for its sixth issue, this time using 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Shot by Ruth Ossai in Greece, the shoot used the photographers signature imported backdrops from Lagos and brought all the Antetokounmpo brothers together.

Franchise followed NBA rookie Rui Hachimura throughout draft week, with the shots made into a collage by Kosuke Kawamura. The results of this have been turned into a Japan-only exclusive cover. The recent Jordan Brand signee is notable for being only the second Japanese-born NBA player to be drafted.

Elsewhere in the issue, artists Lauren Halsey and Devin Troy Strother both feature, visiting the studio of the latter. The NBPA Top 100 camp was also documented by photographer Isa Saalabi and Diplo meets WNBA all-star Liz Cambage.

You can order Franchise’s latest issue from the magazine’s web store.

In other news, Giannis Antetokounmpo is in line for a possible $247 million USD supermax extension.
