Edward Crutchley nabbed the International Woolmark Prize for Menswear in February, and his winning capsule has now officially landed at retailers worldwide. The British designer’s ability to progress wool from its traditional uses and into unique new fabrics and silhouettes has lent a collection of delicate, unique pieces, which were even treated by a master of screen-printing in Kyoto, Japan.

One of the standout items in the collection is the printed wool coat in black, which features a contrasting graphic, side pockets and a belt closure. The assortment also boasts several short-sleeved button-ups that were designed with intricate techniques. Among them, the floral cutout shirt is one of the most eye-catching, featuring striped motifs in white and gold, as well as scalloped edges throughout. Other tops are marked by the likes of shiny gold leaves and an all-over animal print to offer even more pattern.

“My approach to innovation within this collection has been very much focused on artisanal skills and how these can be celebrated and used in a relevant and modern way,” explained Crutchley in a press release earlier this month.

Pieces are priced from $1,001 USD for the Regal Animal Print Shirt up to $2,562 USD for the Printed Wool Coat. The capsule is available now at select retailers like Browns.
