A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Drops "Mood Swings" Visual, Donates $50,000 USD to Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts
Friend and fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert has also pledged to match every additional dollar raised up to $50,000 USD.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has shared an accompanying music video for his latest single “Mood Swings,” a fresh cut off his upcoming project, Artist 2.0. The eclectic visual sees the rapper fully acknowledging his strength and willpower, not allowing anyone to distract him on his journey. He pays homage to his Hoodie SZN album and Artist mixtape cover with visual recreations, and as he comes face-to-face with his alter-egos through the video, he finally comes out as a new and improved man, enjoying the latest version of himself.
In addition to the release of a new visual, A Boogie is also announced a $50,000 USD donation to UNICEF USA to aid in their Hurricane Dorian ground efforts in the Bahamas. Friend and fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert has also pledged to match every additional dollar raised up to $50,000 USD on his own end, increasing the potential total to $150,000 USD. The funds will provide relief for the Bahamian people who survived the Category 5 hurricane, but lost their livelihoods and have been left with little to no water and food.
“The Bahamas need our help, man. You got kids and families left with nothing out there,” A Boogie said in a statement. “We got to show love and support in any way we can to help rebuild that beautiful place. Every little thing helps.”
