Following the duo’s first joint effort, Vivienne Westwood and ASICS have reunited for more bespoke running sneakers. Taking a slightly more understated tact than the first collection, the new drop centers around a trio of heritage trainers, bolstered by bold graphics and subtle details.

A GEL-Saga, Hyper GEL-Lyte and GEL-DS Trainer OG are all on hand, with the GEL-Saga appearing in the same form as the leaked silhouette seen in July. That all-white model is the tamest of the bunch, with the GEL-DS Trainer OG and Hyper GEL-Lite sporting bold color-blocking and imagery of François Boucher paintings, respectively. The latter is directly inspired by Westwood’s Fall/Winter 1990 collection, and all the shoes boast thematic insoles with imagery of Boucher’s Daphnis and Chloe. Small “CHAOS” tags, logos at the tongue and patterned outsoles accent each of the shoes, which also sport embroidered Westwood orbs on the heels.

The collection hits ASICS’ Japanese web store, Vivienne Westwood’s Western web store and stockists like HANON and Browns starting on August 17.

Most recently, we beheld Westwood’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
