UPDATE: Motorcycle aficionados rejoice: if you missed the release of the limited edition Triumph Rocket 3 TFC, the British motorcycle makers have now created a new Rocket 3 range for general release, consisting of two different models — the Rocket 3R, and the GT.

Inspired by the limited TFC variant, both the R and GT models carry a newly designed 2,500cc “Rocket 3” triple engine that weighs almost 40 pounds lighter than previous engine models, capable of pushing out a whopping 165 horsepower at 6,000 RPM, and 163 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 RPM. Equipped with such immense power, the Rocket 3 range models can make 0-62 mph in just 2.89 seconds.

Of course, Triumph didn’t only pack the beasts with power. The bikes also boast a selection of new upgrades and premium parts. The aluminum frame and forward-facing air intake are newly designed, whilst the suspension system uses premium tech such as adjustable 47 mm USD Showa cartridge front forks and a fully adjustable Showa mono-shock rear suspension unit. Brakes come in the form of Brembo Stylema, with signature Rocket 3 triple exhaust pipes running along the lateral of the body. Tech-wise, riders are given four riding modes to choose from, including Road, Rain, Sport, and a Rider-Configurable mode, along with other features coming standard such as keyless ignition, heated grips, and optimized cornering ABS and traction control.

Triumph has said that the two Rocket 3 models will be on sale January 2020, and pricing details will be announced November 19. To learn more about the two models, head over to Triumph’s site.

ORIGINAL STORY (May 5, 2019): Triumph Factory Custom returns with an all-new Rocket 3 motorcycle. The British company’s TFC-edition features a 2.5-liter engine that emits 168 horsepower alongside 163 pound-feet of torque. It’s currently being billed as the brand’s most powerful bike yet.

Weighing in 648 pounds, the bike is 88 pounds lighter than its original version. The slimmer build derives from its aluminum frame that wraps around the engine with a single-sided swingarm to boot. Moreover, a 240mm tire is mounted on the rear with carbon fiber detailing across the Arrow exhaust system for bespoke flair. Rounding out the construction are Brembo brakes for unparalleled grip and a 47mm inverted front fork and rear monoshock for smooth cruising.

According to Autoblog, Triumph has plans to produce a total of 750 Rocket 3 TFCs with 225 of them to hit stateside markets. Each motorcycle will receive a numbered plaque and a price tag of $29,000 USD. Shipment will commence in December 2019.
