Jidenna Releases New Album "85 to Africa" and Releases 'Worth the Weight' Video
Announced alongside a new North America tour.
Following the debut of an announcement trailer, Jidenna has released his anxiously awaited sophomore effort 85 To Africa alongside new visuals for his single aptly named “Worth the Weight.” Alongside the new project, a new tour across North America was announced, which is slated to begin in October.
The 11-track album includes previously released tracks such as “Sufi Woman” and “Tribe,” of which we earlier stated represents a soulful trap tune while “Sufi Woman” showcases Jidenna’s vocals through an afrobeat-influenced sound.
In the video above, we see psychedelic and cinematic visuals that utilize vibrant colors and multiple cutaways of Jidenna rapping to the camera outside of a shake during the day and him having fun with a crowd of people during the evening.
