MCA Chicago Drops More Virgil Abloh "Figures of Speech" Exhibition Apparel
Featuring graphics from Simon Brown and PYREX VISION.
Continuing with the ongoing release of various apparel for his “Figures of Speech” exhibition at MCA Chicago, creative polymath Virgil Abloh has teamed up with graphic designer Simon Brown and the museum for a variety of T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts that have been emblazoned with vibrant graphics.
Starting with the various pieces alongside Simon Brown, the new t-shirts and sweatshirts feature the graphic designer’s signature style, each utilizing the artist’s take on Abloh’s exhibition title. The rear of the garments utilizes Off-White™ and Simon Brown co-branded graphics, with noticeable odes to some of the street-meets-luxe brand’s most recognizable designs. Alongside the collaborative pieces, Abloh and MCA Chicago have also teamed up on a new t-shirt that features an image from PYREX VISION’s first video lookbook, with more graphics busily marking the backside.
You can take a full look at the newly released pieces in the gallery above. All items can be purchased via MCA Chicago’s webstore, with retail prices ranging between $150 – $660 USD. Stay up to date as more items are likely to drop, such as a rumored black version of the Off-White™ x MCA Chicago x Nike Air Force 1 ‘07.
