Betty Gilpin Turns the Tables in Trailer for Blumhouse's 'The Hunt'
The hunted become the hunters.
A new trailer for thriller movie The Hunt has landed. Directed by Craig Zobel, the film is written by Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse of HBO’s The Leftovers, and is produced by Jason Blumhouse under Blumhouse Productions — known for cuts like Get Out, Insidious, BlacKkKlansman and Whiplash.
The forthcoming flick follows a group of 12 people who wake up in a clearing with no memory of how they got there. Completely unaware of the morbid situation they’ve been put in, the 12 soon discover that they’ve been chosen as targets in The Hunt — an activity created by wealthy elites that literally hunt other humans for sport. However, a target named Cristal (portrayed by GLOW’s Betty Gilpin) decides she’s had enough, effectively turning the hunted into the hunter.
Gilpin is joined by a stellar cast, including American Horror Story mainstay Emma Roberts, Oscar winner Hilary Swank, This Is Us’ Justin Hartley, Suicide Squad’s Ike Barinholwitz and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howeritz.

In other movie news, Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino is rumored to be in talks to direct a Lord of the Flies film adaptation.
