Rick Ross & Swizz Beatz Debut Just Blaze-Produced 'Port of Miami 2' Single "Big Tyme"
“When we do it we do it #BigTyme .”
Last week, Rick Ross served up his own rework of ScHoolboy Q’s CrasH Talk single “Numb Numb Juice.” Now, redirecting the focus back to the promotional campaign for his forthcoming Port of Miami sequel, the Florida rapper adds to the Port of Miami 2 rollout by debuting a new single known as “Big Tyme.”
A collaboration with Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze, Rick Ross’ latest record serves as the follow-up to Port of Miami 2‘s previous single, “Act A Fool” featuring Wale. “When we do it we do it #BigTyme ,” Rick Ross remarks, taking to Instagram to share a few words on his new track.
“Surviving R. Kelly, registered pedophiles (Damn) / Tried to feed all my n***as and spread the cheddar ’round (God damn) / Gotta castle in Cali where I quote the Qu’ran / It’s a mansion full of gods ’til I pass the baton,” begins Rick Ross and Swizz Beatz’s first verse on “Big Tyme.” “I bow my head (Bow my head), you know what’s next (Wooh) / I say my prayers (Wooh), hands across my chest (God damn) / Breaking shackles, I’m that n***a disobeying his master (Oh) / Paper chasing, standing still is a f*ckin’ disaster (Oh) / Emmett Till (Emmett Till), cement shoes (Damn) / Can I live? My mamma rent due (Wooh) / Penal systems come to the Source, Benzino of C Notes (Oh) / G don’t wanna see it unless it’s Moschino (Wooh) / It ain’t really real until it’s a kilo (Damn) / I just spoke to Meech, I think I’m Pacino.”
