Reebok joined the sustainable fashion movement last summer after dedicating a new footwear range, dubbed the Cotton + Corn collection, to vegans as well as the environmentally conscious. As the industry’s eco-friendly conversation continues to ramp up, the athletic brand is bolstering its plant-based line-up with the release of three new pastel colorways.

After kicking off the collection with a neutral “Chalk” edition, Reebok livens up the series with soft shades in “Blue Slate,” “Lavender Luck” and “Industrial Green.” Each style retains the signature sustainable features including an upper crafted in 100% cotton, 100% recycled packaging, and a biobased corn-derived sole made out of Susterra® propanediol — a pure, petroleum-free, non-toxic product developed in partnership with DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products. A tonal Reebok patch on the tongue as well as embossed logos on the midsole and heel add subtle branding cues.

“This is still only the beginning, we are working diligently on the next iteration of the range on our journey to create a 100% biobased, fully compostable shoe,” said Bill McInnis, head of Reebok Future.

Priced at $90 USD, the NPC UK Cotton + Corn sneakers are available to purchase now from Reebok’s webstore.

Elsewhere in sustainable fashion news, Public School launched a new V-to basics line, which will be available to streetwear labels and designers worldwide.
