Dover Street Market Unveils Exclusive Gucci Collection for Fall/Winter 2019
Satin, slogans and signature motifs galore.
Dover Street Market has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2019 lineup of exclusive black-and-red label Gucci pieces for its worldwide locations.
The pieces were specially designed by Alessandro Michele for Dover Street Market and are all available in limited quantities. For FW19, DSM and Gucci explore the house’s relationship with color, pattern and embroidery through tailoring, ready-to-wear and accessories. Pieces are adorned with Gucci’s signature motifs including the interlocking G, tiger’s head and green-and-blue Web stripes.
A number of pieces also feature this season’s roster of slogans such as “Allergya,” “ALL PASSION SPENT” and “FRIENDLY WITH STRANGERS”. Standout garments include the green and white leather bomber jacket featuring oversized Gucci branding on the chest in orange and a yellow textured banana patch on the back. Other notable mentions include the green dressing gown, a stars, strawberry and lightning bolt-adorned satin bomber jacket, as well as a pair of interlocking G-covered board shorts featuring green stars and bold stitching.
Rounding off the exclusive collection is an array of T-shirts, bowling shirts, scarfs, bags and hats, delivering a signature Gucci aesthetic that takes you from the warmer months into the season ahead.
Dover Street Market London, Ginza, New York, Singapore, Beijing and Los Angeles will stock the limited-edition Gucci pieces in store and on their respective websites.
