adidas Reimagines the Classic Streetball with a Crisp Monochromatic Update
A 1993 cult-classic.

Following the last iteration of a brightly colored Streetball, adidas is back with the latest rework of the silhouette clad in monochromatic shades and yellow highlights. The Streetball was a ’90s cult-classic that has since been updated with modern materials without changing its nostalgic chunky build.
Tinged in a mix of premium textiles, this rendition of the Streetball is decked with crisp white leather uppers, contrasted by a soft black neoprene tongue and suede overlays. adidas’ three-stripes motif subtly covers the sides underneath black nets, while suede panels are placed around the forefoot and heel. The front section of the midsole sees smooth gradients that transition from white to dark grey, complemented by semi-translucent gum appearing along the lower heel. As a finishing note, the outsole comes with yellow accents, riding up to the front of the toes and slightly on the lateral sides.
The adidas Streetball “Black/White” is currently available at billys-tokyo.net for approximately $130 USD.
Elsewhere, Burberry’s new Union Sneakers fuse progressive designs with burnished leather underlays.
