Following in the footsteps of the recently-revamped Ozweego, adidas Originals serves up another clunky retro runner by way of the EQT Gazelle. Issued in a bevy of men and womens’ colorways, the throwback sneaker boasts some subtly upgraded tech.

Several key details of the original detail are intact, including the supple leather uppers and eye-popping OG colorways that retain bold “Solar Yellow” and “Red Gold” accents across the midsole and layered upper. Breathable mesh lends the shoes a sense of summertime versatility, while hologram logos on the tongue add an extra layer of visibility. Modernized EVA midsoles provide contemporary comfort to the timeless silhouette, with a textured black outsole to ensure grip even amidst summer rains.

The EQT Gazelle sneaker hits adidas’ web store and stockists on July 20.

Most recently, adidas Skateboarding honored Maz Fish with a special Campus ADV sneaker.
