This ABT Sportsline-Tuned Audi RS3 Has 470 BHP & Does 177 MPH
A hot hatch capable of supercar-challenging figures.
ABT Sportsline‘s engineers have developed an Audi RS3 with 470 BHP and a top speed of 177 MPH. These supercar-killing figures derived from the hot hatch’s 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine are the result of a new intercooler and a high-tech ABT Engine Control system, which now allows the car to offer almost 400 lb-ft of torque.
All of the Audi RS3’s numbers have been increased. ABT Sportsline has taken the RS3 from being on-par with the Mercedes-AMG A45 S, which was released earlier last week, to becoming 49 BHP more powerful than its rival. It’s 0-62 MPH time has not been revealed but with the upgrades it has had, we can assume time has been shaved off its Audi-claimed 4.1-second sprint.
ABT Sportsline will also allow customers to spec their newly-tuned Audi RS3 with upgrades brakes, suspension components and an anti-roll bar, as well as a number of aesthetical upgrades. On the outside of the car, ABT Sportsline offers four black chrome tailpipes, 19-inch matte black rims, a number of carbon and leather interior options and door sills that project the ABT Sportsline logo when you open the door. For those looking for something even more powerful than the ABT “Power S” tune, then opt for the “Power R” upgrade, which offers 500 BHP and a 0-62 MPH time of 3.7 seconds.
